In Case Your Pet Gets Lost
New website helps you create a simple ID card
Every pet needs their own ID card in case they get lost or you find yourself in an emergency.
Metal and plastic tags are OK, but can’t be renewed at home – so it’s easy for them to go out of date and have the wrong phone number or address on them. And while every pet should have a microchip, these can only be identified by taking the animal to a veterinarian or shelter with the right scanner.
Dog and Cat ID is a website that lets you upload a photo, adjust it for best identification and enter all the relevant information about you and your pet. The information is converted to a PDF file that you can print out, put in a plastic cover as a tag and make copies in case Fido or Fluffy goes missing.
It’s free, it’s simple, and it’s worth taking a couple of minutes to do.
