Fish with Their Own Observation Tower
German fish lover T.C. Helmut adds an observation tower to his koi pond. The fish can enter and leave the tower at will. By the looks of this, they prefer the view! (But you can see a couple of them scooting in and out at the bottom.
How to make your own observation tower for fish:
How is it done? Helmut says he simply removed the air from the tower, using a hose connected to a vacuum cleaner. His tower is 2.4 meters high and 40 x 40 cm wide, and rises 1.2 meters above the pond.
First, he says, you attach a bottle to a hose. The hose is connected to a vacuum cleaner. Then the air will be removed:
