One More Reason to Save (Their) Bacon
New research from Sweden points to the fact that people who eat processed meats have a considerably higher risk of pancreatic cancer.
Just a single sausage per day – or an ounce and a half of bacon or other processed meat – increases your risk by 19 percent.
Health organizations now recommend that we eat no more than 2.5 ounces of processed meat per day.
But then again, why eat any at all?
