Animals on Runway Wearing Human Skins
Just in time for Fashion Week, the ad agency Ogilvy & Mather has created a video that turns the tables on your typical fashion show.
Instead of humans strutting down the runway wearing animal skins, you see nonhuman animals wearing human body parts. [readon]
The ad was produced for PETA, which intends to use it mostly in China and other Asian countries, where fur is increasingly popular among young, wealthy people.
It also features human skin and body parts on clothing racks, a skinned corpse, and naked people locked in cages. Then the camera zooms in on a nude, trembling Chinese girl shivering in a cage.
But, in case you’re wondering, no humans were harmed in the making of this movie.
